Inverclyde Tourist Group are people who are passionate about the local area. We got together in 2002 to promote Inverclyde in a friendly and informal way. We are all volunteers and are a non-profit-making organisation. We are proud to run tours of our local area and to share our knowledge with you. We can provide you with ideas about how you might spend your time within our area. We can offer information on:

  • Places of interest to visit.
  • Sporting and leisure opportunities, including golf.
  • Local shopping: traditional and chain stores.
  • Transport: trains, buses, taxis, car hire.
  • Places to eat and drink.
  • Internet and telephone access.
  • Clan history and tartan.

For cruise ship passengers we also run local coach tours on cruise call days and can provide information on next port of call. A note about names: Inverclyde is the administrative district composed of the communities of Greenock, Gourock, Port Glasgow, Kilmacolm, Inverkip and Wemyss Bay. The Inverclyde Tartan which is displayed on this site is reproduced by kind permission of the designer Robert Mathieson.
